Bob had this property up for sale for a number of months before he and Marnie chose to buy it. Marnie was always in love with the proximity to attractions and location on the lake. After it sat and sat on the market their confusion for its inability to sell festered ultimately sparking big ideas for their next project. Once buying it they anticipated renovating the cottage, unfortunately an old basement with unforeseen issues forced them to start from scratch. They used the original footprint but adjusted the cottage to be further shielded from the neighbours while increasing the square footage and maximizing the walk-out. In addition, they built a new boathouse with a raised roof to also shield the neighbours and renovated the bunkie to match the new cottage. Bob and Marnie lived in Redwood for approximately 2 years before selling it and moving on to their next big project on Roberts Bay.
2015 Update- Redwood came back on the market May 2015 and Bob was able to get one of his clients back into this spectacular build.
